Everything You Need to Know About Financing
Does financing really offer $0 down at checkout?
Yes! When you choose monthly financing through Klarna, Affirm, or our home improvement lending partners, you pay $0 out of pocket at checkout today. The financing institution funds the entire build upfront directly to Boxpro Express, and your first monthly payment is not due until 30 days after your order. That means your shed or studio is typically fully completed and standing in your yard before your first bill arrives.
If I finance 100% of the build, do I still have to pay the 40% deposit?
No. When you choose 100% financing, the 40% deposit is included in the financed loan balance. The lender pays Boxpro 100% of the project funds upfront, so you owe $0 on Day 1 of construction.
Will checking my financing rate hurt my credit score?
No. Point-of-sale financing options like Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm perform a soft credit check when checking pre-qualification, which does not impact or lower your credit score.
Can I pay off my financing balance early without a penalty?
Yes, 100%. All financing partners offered through Boxpro Express carry zero early prepayment penalties. You can make extra payments or pay off the entire remaining balance whenever you wish without any fees.
What if I want to pay cash or put down a standard deposit instead?
You are always in complete control. You can choose our traditional 40/60 builder contract: reserve your date with a 40% deposit via credit card, debit card, or ACH, and pay the remaining 60% balance upon crew arrival on Day 1.
